divh2Sr Clinical Director/h2pCaron Treatment Centers Job DescriptionCaron Treatment Centers - Position Title: Sr Clinical Director Department: Florida Continuum Reports To: EVP, Caron Florida Purpose: Provide strong clinical leadership for the organization and oversees the coordination of care through the multidisciplinary team, clinical and family systems expertise to admissions staff/ RRDs and the national team and RVPs./ppstrongMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/polliOversees the work of clinical staff and ensures the provision of quality services and documentation by structuring/modifying clinical programming to meet patient needs, assigning patients to staff according to strengths and weaknesses./liliReviews treatment plans and ensures that patients are receiving the care needed. Signs off on documentation as a Qualified Professional./liliProvides leadership for the interdisciplinary team in a manner that encourages open communication, appropriate assumption of responsibility for patient care, and a high degree of initiative in resolving patient issues./liliDetermines staffing needs, assists with hiring, orientations and training of clinical staff./liliResponsible for meeting the budgets for each of the clinical programs they oversee./liliEnsures that all clinical staff adhere to the clinical philosophy in working with the patients and their families./liliResponds to off hour issues/concerns in a timely and effective manner./liliProvides clinical supervision in the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings as well as individual supervision sessions./liliConducts individual and group therapy in accordance with license requirements, CARF standards and Caron policies./liliSets high standards of care and models high levels of clinical concern and competence./liliMakes recommendations to the Executive Vice President of Caron Florida or other Caron leaders regarding the direction and needs of clinical programs./liliTakes a leadership role in identifying quality improvement opportunities and in implementing improvement programs./liliMaintains referent relationships and conducts regular quality control calls with referent base and follows up on any serviced related issues./liliRepresents Caron and Carons clinical programs at conferences and other external speaking engagements./liliMaintains appropriate boundaries and ethical behavior with patients, families, and professionals./liliMaintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with Title 42, CFR, Part 2, HIPAA and Caron policies./liliFollows and enforces all company policies and procedures including human resources, safety, clinical, administrative, etc./liliCompletes all paperwork/documentation in an accurate and timely manner./liliCompletes all required training on a timely basis./liliConducts quality performance evaluations on direct reports on a timely basis./liliConducts frequent reviews of patient charts and all documentation to ensure quality and compliance with organizational standards and requirements as outlined by licensing and accrediting bodies. If not licensed or certified, must be eligible for license./liliMinimum of 3 years in a clinical setting within a drug and alcohol program./liliA minimum of 3 years clinical supervisory experience./liliMinimum of a masters degree in social work or related field./liliExperience leading high-end, premium programs for this position is required./liliExperience with in-network insurance programs./liliIf in recovery, 2 years of continuous sobriety is preferred./liliCertifications in specialized areas such as process addictions or trauma preferred./li/olpstrongPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:/strong/ppThe physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
