Role Description The Insurance Producer is a full-time, on-site role based in St Louis, MO. This position is responsible for prospecting and generating new insurance business, including personal lines and small commercial accounts, through outbound calls, networking, and referrals. The Insurance Producer will conduct needs-based consultations, present coverage options, prepare quotes, and close sales while ensuring a positive and compliant customer experience. Daily responsibilities include managing a pipeline of leads, responding to inquiries, providing policy information, and coordinating with internal teams to process applications and renewals. The role also involves educating customers on available products, including employee benefits and supplemental coverage, and maintaining accurate records in agency systems. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Insurance Sales and Insurance skills, with the ability to understand and explain coverage options and policy features. Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, handle inquiries, and support customers throughout the policy lifecycle. Candidates should possess knowledge of Employee Benefits and related products to advise clients on suitable solutions for their needs. Relevant state insurance licensing (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe) is required. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a sales-focused environment is preferred. Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively in an agency setting is beneficial. Proficiency with basic office software and CRM or agency management systems is advantageous.
