Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Charge experience preferred. - Preceptor experience preferred.

Unit Details: - Uses Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn VS machines. - Wound care PRN. - Unit has an admission/discharge team that assists with the admitting and discharge process for Med-Surg patients.

Floating Requirements: - May float to the sister department (Surgical Telemetry Unit) or Inpatient Rehab.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
