Job Description\n HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Conroe, Texas.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/26/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Travel-RN Med/Surg-1 North (606) / 7P-7A/ 13 Weeks (1035414)\n \n \n Unit Information: 1 North 60662\n Location: HCA Conroe\n Address: 504 Medical Blvd\n Floor: 1N\n Building:\n \n General Information\n Tell us about the unit(s):\n · Number of Beds -32\n · Number of Staff – 34\n · Type of staff:\n o Day Shift- 1 charge, 5 nurses, 3 techs\n o Night Shift – 1 charge, 5 nurses, 2-3 techs\n · Patient Ratios – 1:6 for nurses 1:10-15 for techs\n · Type of equipment -\n · EMR -Expanse\n Typical hiring profile\n Skill Set Most recruited for:\n \n Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.\n · Familiar with Expanse and admissions and discharges\n · Telemetry\n Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n · Previous Expanse experience\n · Ability to draw labs\n · Prefer at least one year of acute care on a M/S Tele or stepdown unit\n List typical procedures performed on unit(s): \n · Lab draws, IV insertions, foley insertions, Administer IV fluids and medications such as antibiotics\n · Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures\n Best personality Fit:\n · Team player.
