TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29406!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: - Advanced skills needed Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff. The unit has a total of 30 beds when fully operational. Currently, there are 18 beds available with renovations in progress. Patient ratios are 6-7:1. The staffing approach is team nursing with techs available on the unit. The unit staffing includes a unit secretary and tech availability. A free Charge Nurse is provided to support the team. Regular equipment typically used for medical-surgical nursing is available. Documentation is managed through Meditech. The scheduling requires working 4 weekend shifts every 4-week scheduling period. Floating to like units may be required based on needs. Hourly safety rounds and bedside shift reports with patients must be performed. Certifications required include BLS and NIH Stroke Scale. The required uniform color is navy. Policies and guidelines pertinent to the unit are available for review. The facility is recognized for its supportive management and emphasis on teamwork. Staff value the excellent work-life balance.
