Compensation: $14/hour

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple directions.
• Must use understanding, compassion, patience, tact and maturity in dealing with the residents, families and visitors.
• Strength required is classified as medium work. Lifting 50-lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

Job Specific Duties:

• Receives and checks-in food and culinary supplies deliveries;
• Inventory management of culinary food and supplies;
• Distributes food and culinary supplies to multiple on-site kitchens/pantries;
• Prepares, seasons and cooks appealing and nutritious meals for residents, employees and guests.
• Lifting requirement of 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to maintain a good relationship with the staff and residents.

Experience:

• Preferred: Inventory management
• 1 year: Food service
