PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Taunton MA 02780 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $65.75/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, Flexible scheduling available with varied shift start times and shift lengths.
• • Shifts may start as early as 8:00 AM and end as late as 12:00 AM .
  • Weekends are optional and not required.

PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Pharmacist will join a 24-hour pharmacy team. The role also involves maintaining patient records, managing inventory, supporting medication-related services, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential medication-related concerns.
• Ensure medications are appropriate for patients and comply with applicable pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Counsel patients regarding medication use, potential reactions, dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Provide consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Provide patient services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients on the proper use of medical devices, including blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• Compound medications for external or internal use.
• Prepare sterile solutions according to established procedures.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other pharmacy staff.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and other members of the healthcare team.

PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Current Massachusetts Pharmacist license required.
