Junior Recruiter

Lighthouse Technology Services is looking to fill their Junior Recruiter position! This is a 3 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY with 3 days on-site.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Screen and qualify candidates for technology positions across various client engagements and skill requirements
• Build strong relationships with candidates to understand their technical skills, career motivations, and professional goals
• Source, evaluate, and submit qualified candidates to active job orders while maintaining quality and timeliness
• Drive successful placements by managing the full recruitment cycle from initial candidate contact through offer acceptance
• Learn the staffing business fundamentals including margin analysis, client expectations, candidate motivations, and placement success factors
• Collaborate with internal team members to meet client expectations and build a robust candidate pipeline
• Develop business acumen by understanding how commercial decisions impact recruitment strategy and client relationships

What You'll Need to Have:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with people, ask insightful questions, and build rapport quickly
• Strong business acumen and commercial awareness with understanding of how businesses operate
• Demonstrated hunger and drive with results-oriented mindset and ability to take initiative without prompting
• Coachability and eagerness to learn with openness to feedback and willingness to invest effort in professional development
