Job Details Specialty: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Setting: Main Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 08/25/2026 Shift Duration: 10-hour day shift Schedule: Tuesday through Friday with call coverage 1 weekday and 1 weekend per month Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,220 - $2,340 Location: Odessa, TX 79761 Orientation: 16 hours Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; 3 years of Operating Room RN experience preferred ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required Cerner experience preferred Experience supporting a broad surgical case mix including robotic, orthopedic, trauma, general/gyn, urology, ENT, plastic, pain management, ophthalmology, neuro/spine, and vascular cases Ability to participate in scheduled call coverage Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room Support a variety of surgical procedures with professionalism, clinical judgment, and strong perioperative skills Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to ensure smooth case flow Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient OR workflow throughout each shift Adapt to a diverse surgical case mix and contribute to a positive team environment Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call coverage Ready to take the next step in your travel nursing career?
