Equal Employment Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled Job Skills / Requirements We are currently seeking an Extinguisher Service Technician for our Omaha, NE location. Ideal candidates will have a background in extinguisher service and inspections. Experience with hood inspections and service is a plus but not required. Starting pay is between $18 and $30 per hour, based on experience and licenses. Be courteous and helpful to our service techs, inspectors and warehouse staff. Perform extinguisher service and maintenance, including 6 year maintenance and hydrostatic testing. Maintain the inventory of all serviced and new extinguishers. Deliver/Replace Extinguishers as necessary. Perform service on a variety of fire protection equipment including portable fire extinguishers. What you’ll need: Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge. Ability to lift 75 lbs+, safely use ladders, work overhead and work in tight spaces. Work efficiently with minimal supervision. Organizational skills are essential for success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn quickly is a must. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. You will be on your feet all day with the exception of morning and afternoon breaks and lunch. Need to be able to work with hand tools.
