Location
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Glastonbury, Connecticut, offering consistency, collaboration, and direct access to partners and clients.
Note
This role requires an active Connecticut Bar license and at least 1 year of attorney experience.

Job Description
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to estate planning, trust administration, probate, and fiduciary tax matters
- Draft and review wills, trusts, pleadings, motions, briefs, and related estate planning documents
- Administer trusts and estates, including fiduciary tax considerations
- Represent clients in probate court hearings and related proceedings
- Prepare for hearings by organizing evidence and developing legal strategies
- Communicate clearly with clients, providing practical legal guidance in plain English
- Manage an independent caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with partners, attorneys, and staff on complex matters
- Stay current on changes in estate planning, elder law, probate, and tax regulations
- Participate in client development, networking, and firm growth initiatives
- Deliver presentations on estate planning and elder law topics as needed
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Connecticut
- 1+ years of attorney experience.
- Elder law experience required
- Fiduciary tax planning experience strongly preferred
- Prior probate court hearing experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and proofreading skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
