Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, while actively engaging in consultation processes for crisis and pre-crisis planning. Maintain all required documentation to meet regulatory standards, ensuring timely completion to support optimal workflow. Utilize clinically appropriate evidence-based screening tools to inform decision-making and support effective treatment interventions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that align with best practices. Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all required regulations and standards. Serve as a liaison to relevant state agencies, service systems, and community partners, enhancing connections and resource pathways for client support. Establish and nurture professional relationships with local, state, and federal organizations to promote agency programs and identify potential funding or partnership opportunities. Commit to personal and professional development through attending relevant conferences, training sessions, and statewide meetings aimed at enhancing expertise. Integrate and promote the agency's mission, values, and principles in daily practices and community interactions. Execute any additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the smooth operation of the healthcare team. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients are diverse, including individuals managing mental health issues, substance use challenges, and those with developmental or acquired brain disabilities. Qualifications Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required. Current and valid Independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license. Strong understanding of therapeutic methodologies and evidence-based practices relevant to mental health counseling. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in outpatient mental health settings. Familiarity with developing crisis intervention plans and positive behavior support. Experience collaborating with community organizations and state agencies.
