Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) in Atlanta, GA. Start 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,644–$1,690 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 2x3 days. Setting: high-acuity surgical/trauma floor on a hospital unit. This assignment requires EPIC experience and flexibility with shifts as scheduled.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult surgical and trauma patients on a med-surg floor
- Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and develop/adjust care plans per physician orders
- Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; monitor for adverse reactions
- Document care in EPIC and coordinate nurse handoffs between ED and admitting units
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and utilize on-unit support staff (Nursing Support Techs, night unit secretary, phlebotomists) to deliver safe, efficient care
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition; escalate appropriately

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- EPIC experience required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a surgical/trauma med-surg specialty
- Ability to work on a high-acuity surgical/trauma unit
- Willingness to work the assigned shifts; no block scheduling

Education
- RN education and licensure as required by state regulations (not listed beyond RN designation)
