State and Local Tax Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a State and Local Tax Associate with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, confident, and a personable team player with outstanding professional credentials. Admission to practice in the respective state is required. Duties Provide legal advice on state and local tax matters. Collaborate with team members on complex tax issues. Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax regulations. Represent clients in tax disputes and negotiations. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in state and local tax law. Admitted to practice law in the respective state. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the respective state. Skills Proficiency in legal research and writing. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
