Civil Engineer

You will be a civil engineer engaged in undertaking planning and feasibility studies together with design and construction supervision stages of infrastructure works, particularly associated with water infrastructure You will work on a variety of civil engineering challenges which may include planning and design of drainage, sewerage and water supply system. An interest in hydrological and hydraulicaspect and water/waste water treatment will be an advantage. Drawing on your expertise you will develop practical, cost effective engineering solutions. You will also give direction to more junior staff working with you. Attend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetings. Participate in fee proposals, technical bids and tender submissions. Develop client relationship and attend business related functions. Candidate Specification What You'll Need Enthusiasm to work on challenging projects with the capacity to work successfully under limited supervision. You will have a willingness to innovate. Knowledge and experience of modern design techniques, including effective use of design and planning software will be an advantage. Your outlook will be client-centric and collaborative; technical excellence will be important to you. Degree holder in Civil Engineering. A Master's degree may be an advantage. Good interpersonal skills and presentation skills. Proactive, energetic, quality oriented and have a high sense of accountability.
