Location: Marble Falls, TX
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Flexible | Minimum 4 shifts per month
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation: $120–$140/hour (based on experience) + bonus

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Physician (MD/DO) to join our team in Marble Falls, Texas . This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking flexibility, clinical autonomy, and a collaborative urgent care environment while maintaining a manageable schedule.

Providers practice in a fast-paced urgent care setting treating a wide range of low to moderate acuity conditions while supported by experienced clinical staff and accessible medical leadership.

• Flexible part-time schedule with minimum 4 shifts per month
\n • Opportunity to provide both direct patient care and APP supervision
\n • Broad urgent care case mix including illness, injury care, and occupational health
\n • Supportive clinical teams and established practice guidelines
\n • No after-hours responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
\n • Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
\n • Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging
\n • Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
\n • Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly
\n • Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
\n • Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
\n • Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
\n • Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with Texas regulations
\n • Be available for consultation and support of APPs practicing within the clinic network

• Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license
\n • Board certified or board eligible (Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred)
\n • Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start
\n • Ability to treat patients of all ages
\n • Active BLS certification
\n • EHR proficiency
\n • Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
\n • DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
\n • Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care
\n • Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
