ISP Structured Cabling Foreman (Inside Plant)

Job Title: Inside Plant (ISP) Foreman/Technician Business Unit: HHS Construction, LLC., a Congruex Company Department: Construction Employment Status: Full-time, non-exempt (hourly) Primary Location: Ontario, CA Salary will be determined based on skills and experience related to the function of the role, as well as equity to employees in similar roles. Job Summary We are looking to hire a reliable and organized ISP Level 3 Foreman to install, maintain, and repair category 5e/6/6A copper cabling. The Foreman must install single-mode and multimode fiber optic cabling for business clients, including mechanical terminations with Uni‑cam, Fast‑cam, or similar connectors. Responsibilities include crew management, installing data and voice cable systems, raceway, conduit, racks, cabinets, cable suspension hardware, cable placement, drilling/coring, and troubleshooting. The Foreman must have mid‑high level knowledge of low voltage systems and cable technology, be comfortable working in cramped spaces and at heights, and interact with clients professionally. Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to) Coordinate crew with the Project Manager. Work with onsite customer contact at the job site. Read job documentation and understand projects. Execute work safely and efficiently. Hold onsite meetings with crew. Manage crew and task delegation. Handle daily reports and timesheets for crew members. Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure. Perform maintenance on existing cabling systems. Test newly installed or relocated cables. Identify and remove redundant cabling. Troubleshoot cable network issues. Install cable support structures such as j‑hooks, cable racks, and innerduct. Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations. Foreman should have mid to high‑level knowledge of installing and bending EMT conduit. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous work experience as a Foreman. Ability to install voice and data cabling. Ability to install fiber optic cabling and terminate mechanical connections. Ability to use Fluke or similar testing equipment for troubleshooting and certifying. Ability to work in cramped spaces. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work at heights. Familiarity with copper and fiber optic color codes. Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. Provide personal minor hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wire cutters, punch‑down tools). Clean driving record and ability to pass DOJ background checks for access into government and school facilities.
