Position Summary

The Field Service Electrical Technician is responsible for traveling to customer sites to perform installations, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs on customer equipment. This role requires 50–75% travel throughout the United States by car and/or plane.

When not traveling, the technician will support production by assisting with the assembly and installation of industrial electrical equipment and control systems in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work from electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics while ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed electrician, this role will:

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Install, replace, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, switch boxes, receptacles, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and related components.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels, switchgear, transformers, batteries, and power distribution equipment.
• Install and run EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing).
• Perform on-site commissioning, service, and warranty work at customer locations.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete electrical installations and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Support production and assembly activities when not travelin g.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of electrical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or field service environment.
• Ability to travel 50–75% throughout the United States.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power circuits and industrial wiring systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience running and installing EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing).
• Familiarity with electrical control panels, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Proficient with standard electrical hand and power tools.
• Valid U.S. Passport preferred.
