Job Summary:As a Physician in an affiliated medical practice, provides medical services to patients in an assigned area.Job Description:The Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at MaineGeneral is seeking a Board eligible or Board-certified general otolaryngologists to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a comprehensive ENT service provider in Central Maine, including specialties in rhinology, pediatrics, otology, and Head & Neck surgery, in collaboration with the Alfond Cancer Center.About the Role:General otolaryngologists, including those currently completing residency training, are ideal candidates for our vacancies. As a new otolaryngology physician, you will have the opportunity to develop a special interest that complements our existing team. You will join two permanent otolaryngologists, including the Medical Director, who will provide mentorship for newly qualified ENT physicians.Areas of Interest: We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise or interest in:• Rhinology• Dizziness and balance disorders• Otology/Middle ear surgeryOn Call CommitmentOur on-call schedule is 1 in 4.
