Team Leader / Shift Supervisor

Long JohnSilver's is looking for a dependable and motivated Team leader / Shift Supervisor to run shifts, lead team members, and support restaurant management. This role is ideal for team members who want to step into leadership, learn management skills, and grow within the company.

As a Team Leader, you will share responsibility with the management team for daily restaurant operations, with a focus on great guest service, food quality, team development, and operational standards.

What You'll Do

* Run shifts and lead team members during assigned shifts

* Ensure all team members complete assigned shift tasks and follow company uniform standards

* Take responsibility for positive guest engagement by addressing and resolving guest questions or concerns in a timely, friendly manner.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and team members

* Ensure equipment is clean and in good working condition

* Follow proper food storage, handling, preparation, and presentation procedures with strong attention to food safety

* Ensure cash handling, security, safety, and food quality standards are met

* Learn key management skills such as forecasting sales, creating schedules, ordering and tracking inventory, and completing weekly and business period reports

* Support restaurant goals for sales growth and operational excellence

* Maintain a positive work environment with a culture of respect and teamwork

* Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager

 

What We're Looking For

* Restaurant or food service experience required

* Previous leadership experience ( trainer, key holder, shift lead) preferred

* Willingness to learn and grow into higher management roles

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic

* Ability to follow company standards and safety guidelines
