Project Manager

Overview We are actively seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager for a permanent position near Durham, NC. This role focuses on project controls leadership, integrated scheduling, cost forecasting, reporting, performance analysis, and project controls system implementation. Job Responsibilities Analyze complex project data and deliver concise messages to support decision-making Prepare project controls reports, dashboards, summaries, and performance metrics independently Integrate inputs from various stakeholders while maintaining accountability for final outputs Communicate project status and impacts promptly Provide hands‑on support for clients navigating engineering life cycles Develop tools like site dashboards and detailed schedules Perform due diligence and quality checks on deliverables Identify roadblocks and propose creative solutions Lead integrated project schedules management Develop and maintain cost models and progress tracking tools Track installed quantities and productivity for accurate forecasting Monitor cost performance and recommend mitigation actions Prepare internal and external project controls reports regularly Requirements Bachelor's Degree in technical sciences, engineering, regulatory or related discipline OR equivalent experience Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, and/or Smartsheet 7-13 years of relevant experience Willingness to travel as required for client projects Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred Skills Experience in project controls, general construction, cGMP facility start‑up, project management or comparable military experience Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short‑term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
