Business Systems Analyst Co‑op As a core member of the Data Systems Analysis team, the Business Systems Analyst Co‑op will support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our data and analytics systems. This role bridges business stakeholders and the technical capabilities of our modern data stack, with an emerging focus on responsible AI application. We are looking for a full‑time, paid Fall 2026 co‑op position for students currently enrolled in a full‑time undergraduate or graduate program. Eligible applicants must be available to work 40 hours per week from July 2026 to December 2026 and be able to spend 60% of the time in the Boston, MA office (approximately 3 days per week). What you will do Support requirements-gathering sessions and translate business requirements into clear user stories under senior team guidance. Document current‑state and future‑state business processes and draw system and data flow diagrams, identify gaps, update data governance policies, runbooks, and training materials. Explore AI tools and techniques, prototype low‑risk AI‑assisted workflows, and document learnings, limitations, and best practices. Conduct data analysis to build reports and dashboards; identify and reconcile data discrepancies across systems. Support process and documentation cleanup, including template standardization, version control, and knowledge management. What you bring Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or related field) with eligibility for a co‑op or internship. Relevant coursework, projects, or prior internship experience in business analysis, data analytics, or systems analysis. Self‑starter mindset, strong curiosity, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship. Analytical problem‑solving skills and ability to break larger problems into smaller, structured questions. Ability to navigate ambiguity by asking clarifying questions, documenting assumptions, and escalating risks appropriately. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative working style and ability to partner across business, data, and engineering teams. Strong SQL skills required; Python skills preferred. Business‑outcome oriented mindset and enthusiasm for understanding how data and systems enable better decisions. Bonus: Experience or exposure to tools like Snowflake, dbt, Cursor, Claude, Looker.
