What will you do: Collect and process blood and other specimens on all patient age groups according to established policies and procedures for clinical laboratory testing to ensure accurate lab results that will assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. Obtain needed supplies, verify patient identification, prepare skin site, and perform venipuncture and skin puncture according to established aseptic techniques. Label specimens and prepare them for laboratory for analysis. Float to other Patient Care Centers if needed. Work Hours / Shift: 40 hours, flexible start and end times based on Center’s operation of hours. Will float to other centers when needed, require dependable transportation. Laboratory experience, specimen processing preferred; clinical office experience with medical terminology. National Certification preferred.
