Phlebotomist - 40 hrs - 10pm - 6:30am - Inpatient/ED

Employment Type Full time Shift Night Shift (10:00 pm – 6:30 am, every other weekend/holiday rotation) Description We are hiring an Inpatient Phlebotomist to collect and process blood specimens for inpatients and the Emergency Department. The role requires obtaining specimens, labeling them according to laboratory policy, and providing patient information to the appropriate caregiver to support diagnosis, treatment, and care. Responsibilities Properly identify patients according to policy and perform venipuncture using standard or butterfly methods Label all specimens following laboratory policy Receive, cancel, and order laboratory and microbiology specimens, and process them for analysis Work Hours/Shift 40 hours per week, 10:00 pm – 6:30 am, every other weekend/holiday rotation Requirements High School Diploma or GED Completion of a Phlebotomy Training Program One year of phlebotomy experience National certification preferred Benefits Health insurance coverage starting Day One Generous shift differentials Equal Opportunity Statement We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
