Graphic Designer

Graphic DesignerThe Graphic Designer will be responsible for taking conceptual design ideas and creating visual representations of them, for traditional/print and digital mediums. The role will be involved with a variety of products, applications and software platforms. The Graphic Designer will also assist the Marketing & Communications team with promotions, special events and visual media as required.Core DutiesCreate and design various materials for print and digital collateralPrioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and restrictionsEnsure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest degree of qualityProvides seamless transition of artistic vision from concept to realized productBuilds technically accurate files according to departmental standards and supplied specificationsUse AI-powered creative tools to generate concepts, images, layouts, variations, and design ideas.Incorporate AI into the design workflow to improve efficiency, experimentation, and creative output.Stay current with emerging AI tools, design trends, technologies, and creative techniques.Maintain existing brand guidelines across all creative and graphic materials and contribute to further development of a "best-in-class" organizational brand identityIdentifies inconsistencies between creative concept, production file and Company standards, then actively seeks out solutions to keep work moving forward without sacrificing quality or deliverabilityCreate and maintain artwork files and documentation for production on printed mediums, digital distribution, and cross-platform useDevelop graphics for use in product illustrations, promotional materials on social media, pre-production mockups, website content, and morePlan and schedule multiple overlapping projects and deliver on time and on budgetExercise excellent judgment and make recommendations that balance the needs of the companyHave the ability to manage multiple competing and important priorities quickly and effectively communicate back to other stakeholders.Have a strong sense of urgency, integrity and impeccable professionalism.Demonstrate knowledge and experience with graphic art software, applications, and utilization of digital resourcesKnowledge of web development, web design, digital asset management and scripting languages such as HTML, CSS, jQuery highly desirableEnthusiastically represent XPEL and present a professional appearanceConstantly be learningHave a strong creative problem-solving abilityJob Requirements1-2 years of experience performing design functions with a strong demonstrative portfolio or body of workBachelor's or Associate's Degree in Graphic Design/ Digital Design, Visual Communication, Media, or equivalent experienceProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.Strong sense of trend spotting across all facets of visual communication on a global scaleAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skills – consider combining with next twoAbility to work well with others both in-person and across other locations via remote communicationsExcellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and integrate with geographically dispersed leaders and teamsXPEL is an equal opportunity employer.
