We are a fast-paced 3 doctor Nephrology practice located in Boca Raton, FL on Military Trail between Glades Road and Spanish River Boulevard. We are seeking a CMA to join our team. Duties include rooming patients, recording vital signs, document medical histories and perform medication reconcilliations in our EMR system. Lab duties include venipuncture, injections and process laboratory specimens including blood, urine and occult blood samples. Upkeep facility by sanitizing the laboratory and examination rooms and inventory/ordering medical supplies. Duties also include telephone calls to patients to discuss laboratory results and various radiology test results once they have been reviewed by the physicians. CMA will also work with insurance companies on medication prior authorizations and any other duties as per the physicians and office manager. Proficiency with EMR systems (Greenway Intergy a plus), strong phlebotomy skills and solid understanding of medical terminology. Must speak clear and proper English (Spanish speaker a plus). Must have excellent organizational skills and patient empathy. Non-Smoker Only.
