Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics – Colorado

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Lamar, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). May rotate shifts and areas as staffing and census requires. On-call coverage required.

Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care including labor, delivery, postpartum, and infant care
• Perform assessments, monitor labor progression, prepare for C-sections and inductions, and deliver patient education
• Work within a dedicated Birth Center team supporting women and families through the entire childbirth experience
• Opportunity to develop or expand obstetrics nursing skills in a supportive environment
• Neonatal Resuscitation and ACLS certification support provided within the first year

Requirements:

• Current Colorado RN licensure
• Current CPR certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and ACLS required within one year of employment
• Four years of obstetrics care experience preferred
• Knowledge of or strong interest in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursing care
• Proficiency in sterile technique, infection control, and technical aspects of mother/infant care
• Ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations and communicate clearly with diverse patient populations
