About the Role We’re seeking Marine/Waterfront Engineers to lead and support the design of critical shoreline infrastructure across the NYC region. You'll work on a variety of waterfront structures, including: Bulkheads & retaining walls, piers, platforms & docks Fender systems & marine foundations Flood resiliency and shoreline protection systems No diving is required, this is a design role. This is a high‑visibility role with opportunities to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the strategic growth of a well‑established firm's marine practice. Key Responsibilities Lead structural and geotechnical design for marine and waterfront infrastructure Manage project delivery from concept through construction Oversee regulatory permitting and interface with public agencies Prepare technical reports, construction documents, and client deliverables Support proposals, change orders, invoicing, and client communications Qualifications 5+ years of experience in marine, waterfront, structural, or geotechnical engineering Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering AutoCAD proficiency, Civil 3D/Revit nice to have PE license (preferred, or will obtain within 6 months of hiring) Strong knowledge of waterfront structures and coastal resiliency Why Join Us?
