Controls TechnicianOur client, a global manufacturing leader, is seeking skilled Controls Technicians to join their team at their Holland, Michigan facility. This role is ideal for hands-on professionals experienced in troubleshooting and supporting automated production systems. You'll be key in maintaining and improving advanced manufacturing equipment-from robotics to PLCs-while ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance across operations. Join a team that values initiative, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a dynamic, technology-forward environment. 2nd and 3rd shift openingsKey Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment, including PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and servo drivesProvide ongoing technical support to operations, setup teams, and engineersLead or assist with continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency and uptimeImplement and maintain a wide range of control systems across manufacturing linesConduct system verification and ensure accurate documentation of controls-related workSupport and perform preventative maintenance activitiesMentor or assist other maintenance and technical team members as neededQualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience with troubleshooting and maintaining control systems in a manufacturing environmentExperience troubleshooting PLCsProven ability to establish communication with control systems for diagnostics and programming
