Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging tests and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical settings strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications essential
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant (or eligibility for it)

Skills
