Position Overview

We are searching for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing imaging team dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while clearly explaining each step with sensitivity
• Work in partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
