The Sales Account Manager will engage with customers and technology partners to drive business growth, nurture existing relationships, expand accounts, and prospect new opportunities. Success depends on managing accounts efficiently, ensuring smooth solution delivery, and practicing strong account management. Travel Requirements: Local regional travel - 20% Responsibilities Include: Customer Engagement & Account Growth: Develop relationships with existing customers, ensure satisfaction, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Prospecting New Business: Identify and engage prospective customers, develop leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients. Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement account plans aligned with sales targets and customer objectives. Collaborate internally to leverage resources and solutions. Operational Command: Maintain operational understanding of accounts, ensure seamless service delivery, track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and analyze account health. Collaboration with Partners: Build relationships with technology partners like AWS, Microsoft, and Cisco to create joint strategies and add value for customers. Achieve & Exceed Quotas: Meet or surpass revenue and engagement goals through proactive relationship management and consultative sales. Required Skills and Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience in the technology industry, with experience working with technology partners to drive joint sales. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets, focusing on customer retention and new business. Strong operational skills: managing multiple accounts efficiently, forecasting, and tracking account health. Experience working with or for channel partners is highly preferred. Preferred Skills and Experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships at all organizational levels. Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or related field. Experience selling cloud, managed services, and automation solutions. Motivated, results-driven, with a passion for customer success and relationship building. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Problem-solving mindset, delivering tailored solutions to customer challenges. 3-5 years of sales experience in the tech industry. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military service.
