NOW HIRING: CNC LATHE SETUP / EDIT / OPERATOR /PROGRAMMING

Location: Mentor, OH
Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | MondayFriday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Temp-to-Permanent Opportunity

Mancan Staffing has partnered with a Mentor manufacturing company that is looking for a motivated and experienced CNC Lathe Setup / Edit / Operator/ Programming to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for someone with CNC experience who is looking to grow their skills and build a long-term career. Programming experience is not required, but candidates must have experience editing CNC lathes and be comfortable setting up and operating equipment.

Responsibilities:
Set up, edit, and operate CNC lathes
Set up machinery and equipment for production
Visually inspect finished products for quality
Use tape measures, calipers, fixtures, and other measuring tools to verify specifications
Monitor, maintain, and report operating and quality records
Follow established production and quality standards
Perform basic machine troubleshooting and light maintenance as needed
Read and follow production paperwork and written work instructions
Follow all company safety procedures and requirements
Maintain productivity while minimizing rework and maintaining quality

Technical Skills:
Previous experience setting up, editing, and operating CNC lathes
Knowledge of machine operations, capabilities, and safety requirements
Understanding of basic machine maintenance
Knowledge of product quality standards
Ability to follow written and demonstrated work instructions
Ability to accurately read production paperwork
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements:
Ability to learn and perform multiple manufacturing tasks
Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift
Occasional pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping
Ability to occasionally lift 1050 lbs.

Experience & Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
CNC lathe setup and editing experience required
CNC programming experience is not required
