Title: EHS Coordinator
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Shift: M-F 8AM-4:30PM
Contract to Hire Opportunity

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The EHS Coordinator supports the Environmental, Health, and Safety and Sustainability (EHS) department on projects from the standpoint of document review and development, training support and systems management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

• Provides critical project support related to operations, systems, and programs.
• Effective planning, execution and timely completion of assigned projects.
• Manage project tracking, weekly updates and summary reporting.
• Create and update operations, system, and program documents.
• Assist in the management of the distribution, tracking and recording of updated and new SOPs, Forms, and Work Instructions.
• Perform and develop JHA's.
• Assist EHS in:
  • Maintaining compliance with all EHS Programs
  • SDS compliance and Chemical inventory
  • Injury first report
  • Auditing and compliance
    • Weekly and monthly facilities observations and audits
    • Weekly Inspection of Satellite and Accumulation Areas
    • Regulatory inspections
  • ISO coordination
    • Safety management systems
    • Environmental management systems
    • Water efficiency management systems
    • Energy management systems
  • Security coordination
  • Recycling Program
    • Includes but not limited to drum and tote inspection
    • Assist with truck haul coordination
  • Housekeeping
    • Maintaining inventory and employee coverage
  • Waste Management / Hazardous / Non-Hazardous Disposal
    • Manifests
    • Assist with truck haul coordination
  • Assist with industrial wastewater pre-treatment compliance
  • OSHA Forklift Training, Certification, Inspection and Maintenance Compliance
  • Respiratory Program
    • Respiratory Fit Testing and PPE
  • CPR/First Aid and AED Training

• Manage applicable training, training related documentation, reporting and tracking in the Ensur system for all FLP business units.
• Create KPI presentations, training material and other presentations as needed.
• Comply with Company SOPs and Policies.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

• Ability to read, speaks, and writes in English.
• Ability to read, speaks, and writes in Spanish, preferred.
• Ability to navigate document control software(s) (MS3, Ensur, etc.).
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Knowledge of basic office procedures.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, and data entry.
• Ability to operate office equipment including copy machine, fax, telephone, PC, and 10-key calculator.
• Ability to understand and interpret regulations.

• Maintain a high level of quality and innovation.
• Able to operate Sit-down Propane Forklift and Scissor Lift, preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

• Stand/remain standing up to 2 hours at a time.
• Sit/remain sitting up to 6 hours at a time.
• Lift up to 25lbs.
• Bend, squat, kneel, balance, turn and stoop occasionally.
• Turn and twist repetitively.
• Reach down, forward and overhead.
