RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: RN with ICU experience preferred License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Proficient in 12-lead EKGs Experience with infusions and drips Capability to perform lab draws Competence in IV insertion Familiarity with cardiac monitoring Experience in weaning patients from oxygen Description:The ICU nurse will provide care to critically ill patients.The nurse to patient ratio is 1:2 +/- 1.Floating to a different facility may be required.This role involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.RNs should be prepared to manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this position.In addition, the nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
