Shipping AssociateThe Shipping Associate is responsible for packaging industrial electronics, automation equipment, and related components for shipment while ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery. This role plays a critical part in protecting products during transit and maintaining the high standards expected by Radwell customers.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPackage industrial electronics and related components for shipment accurately and efficientlyEnsure products are packaged securely to prevent damage during shippingFollow established packaging procedures and shipping guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping areaEnsure shipping supplies are stocked and readily availableMeet shipping schedules, productivity goals, and customer deadlinesUtilize pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and effectivelyMaintain accuracy while handling varying shipment volumesSupport team members and assist with operational needs as requiredParticipate in special projects and additional duties as assignedKnowledge & Skills RequiredComputer proficiencyAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailProblem-solving abilitiesGood communication skillsAbility to safely operate pallet jacks and hand trucksMetrics & MeasurementsMaintain packaging accuracy and quality standardsMeet established packaging productivity goalsMaintain accuracy levels required for commission eligibilityAverage 23 points per hour in upstairs shipping operationsAverage 13 points per hour in downstairs shipping operationsPerformance evaluated based on both volume and accuracy metricsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical DemandsOccasional sitting, reaching, working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingFrequent walkingContinuous standing and repetitive hand motionFrequent lifting up to 70 pounds individuallyContinuous lifting up to 10 pounds individuallyTeam lifting up to 200 pounds when requiredCompensation & CommissionThe recruiting base pay rate for this full-time position is $17.00 per hour. Within the base pay range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance and may be required to work additional hours based on business needs.Work EnvironmentThe environment is a shipping and warehouse setting. Dress attire is casual but professional. Employees are required to wear Radwear apparel once issued. Closed-toe shoes are required at all times.
