Job Details: Job Location: Glenn Metalcraft Inc - Princeton, MN 55371, Salary Range: $27.00 - $33.00 Hourly, We are seeking a knowledgeable Welder III to join our team at Glenn Metalcraft. This position is responsible for producing metal components by setting up and operating welding machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Key Responsibilities Advanced understanding of welding necessary to produce metal components Must follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/Tag out Ability to weld three or more different types (Mig, Tig, etc.) Set up components for welding according to specifications for given process Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws Ability to adjust welding machine Ability to select correct welding process, cell, and machine Understand and accurately report daily production quantities to meet set number of parts per hour Consistent and accurate counts of materials and products Ability to do daily maintenance on welding machine Performs necessary quality checks on product and completes daily communication Ability to setup workstation according to safety standards to perform maximum efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to established procedures. Maintain a positive attitude with customers, clients, co-workers, and management Ability to complete the first part approval process for all jobs Effectively collaborate with departments across organization to achieve daily goals May program new parts in robotic cell to completion Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred 4 years welding experience required Skills and Competencies Ability to safely perform work in varying work conditions Holds at least three welding certifications (1G – 6G) or three different materials (ex. steel, aluminum, stainless, etc.) required Working knowledge of welding with previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred Ability to understand and follow instructions Effective problem-solving skills/detailed oriented/sense of urgency Ability to read blueprints and use measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and fillet gauges Ability to be forklift certified Ability to follow hoist safety protocols Self-motivated, takes initiative Physical Requirements Ability to lift 40 lbs. on a consistent basis Ability to stand for up to 10 hours Excellent hand/eye coordination Demonstrated ability to effectively use power tools Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina Ability to consistently wear personal protective equipment Ability to work in production facility with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels Featured Benefits Medical Insurance with HSA Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Accident & Critical Illness Insurance 401(k) Contributions Tuition Reimbursement Profit Sharing Paid Time Off (PTO) Volunteer PTO 9 Paid Holidays Paid Uniforms Boot Reimbursement Job Details Job Title: Welder III Company: Glenn Metalcraft Location: Princeton, MN Shift: 1st Reports To: Operations Manager Direct Reports: No Pay Type: Hourly Job Type: Direct Requisition ID: 59075 The expected base pay range for this position is between $27.00 and $33.00 per hour.
