Salary Range: $54,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for Lathe machines using CAD/CAM software.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine optimal machining processes.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.
• Simulate and verify CNC programs to ensure accuracy and prevent collisions.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and optimize programs.
• Create and maintain detailed setup sheets and tool lists.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for programming efficiency and quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC Lathe programming using G-code and M-code.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Esprit, SolidWorks CAM).
• Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, and fixture design for CNC lathes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Knowledge of various materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, plastics) and their machining properties.
