Job Posting: Labor Compliance/Procurement Analyst Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Classification: JC-519906 – Analyst II Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per Month (minimum salary for new to state candidates) Final Filing Date: 6/8/2026 Job Summary Under the direct supervision of a Supervisor I and supporting the region’s Contract Managers, the Analyst II works independently in the administration of maintenance service contracts and the enforcement of Labor Compliance provisions. The Analyst II administers the Department’s Labor Compliance Program (LCP) by enforcing federal and state labor laws and regulations pertaining to prevailing wages on public work contracts and investigates prevailing wage complaints received. Responsibilities Administrate the Department’s Labor Compliance Program (LCP) Enforce federal and state labor laws and regulations related to prevailing wages on public work contracts Investigate prevailing wage complaints Support the region’s Contract Managers in contract administration Prepare and generate monthly operating expense reports, encampment spreadsheets, and ad‑hoc reports Maintain databases tracking expenditures, toll road charges, and encampment removal history Provide data analysis and recommendations for budget planning and operational decisions Minimum Requirements See Class Specification. Analyst II classification. Eligibility based on Analyst II exam score or state examination list Minimum qualifications demonstrated through experience and education Working Conditions Position located at 1808 N. Batavia St., Orange, Orange County. Employees work in a climate‑controlled field office with artificial lighting; building temperature may fluctuate. Travel by state car to other Caltrans field offices and the district office. This position may be eligible for telework; telework amount is at the department’s discretion.
