Description: We are seeking experienced nurses. Candidates must have a current state nursing license and CPR/BLS certification. Vaccination for the flu is required. Education verification is required. Travel nurses may be required to float to other units. This position will require every other weekend and holidays. Shifts are 12 hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice act. Document according to standards of care. Develop, initiate, and execute a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction. Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance. Utilize clinical expertise to guide other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalate to the chain of command.
