Junior Architect

IMC Architecture is a boutique firm looking for a talented individual to help grow our practice. Our work includes ground-up and renovation of medium to large-scale multi-family residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Responsibilities will include site surveying, planning, production of design development and construction documents, construction administration, site meetings, and direct client interaction. Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to collaborate in all aspects of a project. Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture. 2-4 years of professional experience in an architectural office. Perform design and drafting of production of design drawings. Excellent collaborator and team player with strong communication, improvisation, and problem-solving skills. Interface with the Project Manager and Project Architect as well as other Architectural team members. Coordinate full drawing sets and prepare construction specifications. Motivated to quickly learn and improve as a professional, including developing expertise in both design and technical aspects of architecture. Understand NYC codes and zoning. Motivate and inspire team members throughout the project. Professional architectural degree. Proficiency in Revit. Excellent English-language communication and client-interface skills.
