The Job: As a Project Engineer, you’ll be part of our Industrial team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to: Assist commercial team in identifying applications and provide technical support on sales calls. Work with customers to develop products and finalize specifications for their applications. Coordinate all project related activities with internal teams after award of business including requirements management, design, project timing, customer communication, fabrication and component procurement. Generation and approval of designs in both Pro-Engineer (Creo) and AutoCAD Mechanical and structural calculations, specification of materials, heat treatment, machining and fabrication methods. Specifications for machine controls (both pneumatic and electrical).Outsourcing of electrical panel work as required. Participate in technical presentations to educate and train customers. Develop test protocols and support product testing as required. Provide technical support after award of business including troubleshooting and change management. Responsible for all product realization deliverables per the Quality Management System (feasibility, design studies, APQP deliverables as required) Support engineering department on specific projects to support the overall technical growth of the company. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
