Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

Artemis Creek, LLC is seeking a Facilities Specialist to support day-to-day facilities operations for a Federal client in Washington, DC. This is a fully onsite role that requires a physically active presence throughout the facility and the ability to respond quickly to emerging issues.What you'll do:Be onsite 8 hours daily during core hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work as needed Respond quickly to DC-area buildings in the event of a facilities emergencyWalk multiple floors and stairwells daily, up to 12 flights, as part of routine building inspectionsConduct daily walk-throughs to identify facilities issues before they escalateEscort non-cleared personnel completing facilities work such as carpet replacement, plumbing repairs, painting, and other routine maintenanceCommunicate findings to DOJ federal personnel in writing and verbally, weekly or immediately if urgentSupport meeting preparation and related coordination tasks, without serving as a representative of the client in external-facing capacitiesWhat you'll need:Basic understanding of facilities and operational managementDemonstrated project management and communication skillsComfortable working independently in an active, occupied federal facilityAbility to move throughout a multi-story building regularly, including climbing stairsThis role is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, physically capable of daily walk-throughs across multiple floors, and comfortable working in a fast-paced federal facility environment.
