Job Overview Within the Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging service line, the Supervisor Outpatient Radiology helps shape a high‑acuity ambulatory imaging ecosystem that is part of a broad multi‑hospital footprint with hundreds of outpatient centers. The role oversees CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, PET/CT, and X‑ray services with reliable quality. Reporting to a Director of Outpatient Imaging, the Supervisor Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging receives operational, clinical, and administrative support and leads daily workflow, staffing, coaching, and scheduling across modalities. The position partners closely with radiologists, technologists, and nurses to advance ACR accreditation readiness, radiation safety, ALARA adherence, protocol standardization, vendor partnerships, equipment uptime, patient throughput, service recovery, KPI dashboards, and continuous improvement, ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care for every visit. Responsibilities Lead daily workflow, staffing, and scheduling for outpatients across multiple imaging modalities. Coach and mentor technologists, nurses, and other staff to achieve high quality and safety standards. Partner with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols and maintain accreditation readiness. Ensure radiation safety and ALARA compliance while maintaining equipment uptime. Drive continuous improvement through KPI dashboards, service recovery processes, and workflow optimization. Maintain vendor relationships and oversee equipment procurement and support. Promote a patient‑first culture with measurable outcomes, strong quality scores, and high patient experience.
