Exciting Opportunity for Skilled Observational Nurses!


Job Description:

- Engage in dynamic patient care by assessing, implementing, and monitoring healthcare for outpatients on observation status.
- Deliver exceptional nursing services by regularly assessing patients' needs in line with physician-prescribed care plans and nursing standards.
- Provide direct patient care, including:
- Medication administration
- Treatments
- Assisting with transfers
- Responding to call lights and alarms
- Collaborate with team members to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making suggestions, and revisions using current information to enhance patient care.
- Efficiently process physician/provider orders, ensuring care is executed accurately and promptly.
- Follow up on medication changes and provide order clarifications to optimize patient outcomes.

Submission Requirements:

- 2+ years of observation experience (required)
- Epic EMR experience (preferred)
- Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius (required)

Profile Requirements:

- Work history
- Skills checklist, current to 1 year, relevant to the specialty (Observation) - (required) [document]
- 2 completed supervisory reference forms within the last two years - (required) [document]
- Active Michigan/MI license documented through LARA and/or Nursys - (required) [document]
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification - (required) [document]
