Inside Sales Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Inside Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale our inside sales operations, focusing on small and midsize businesses and our partner program. This is a player-coach role: you will build our outbound engine from scratch, run discovery and demos, and close business directly while recruiting and coaching an elite inside sales team. You will lead with the NexGen value narrative, helping remote SMBs reduce turnover through Community, Collaboration, Culture, and Communication. To succeed, you should be a self-motivated builder, a strong closer, and a coach who raises the performance of everyone around you. Roles & Responsibilities Own new ARR/MRR growth across SMB accounts, outbound channels, and inbound leads, including our partner program Run the full sales cycle: discovery calls, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and closing Build repeatable prospecting sequences across cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and referral networks Engage SMB CEOs, COOs, and other leaders to solve remote work engagement challenges Create the sales playbook: scripts, email cadences, qualification frameworks, and objection guides Prove the sales capability, then hire, onboard, and mentor BDRs and SDRs; run weekly call reviews and pipeline audits Establish transparent quotas, daily activity standards, and continuous learning cadences Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and deal progression in Zoho CRM Partner with Customer Success to ensure strong onboarding, early adoption, and low early churn Define SMB Ideal Customer Profiles and qualification standards, and refine messaging based on conversion data Present forward-looking growth plans to leadership Requirements 5+ years of B2B SaaS inside sales or business development experience with a proven track record of meeting quota 2–3+ years of leadership experience mentoring, coaching, or leading sales team members Full-cycle sales mastery, from cold prospecting through contract execution Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Zoho CRM Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and virtual presentations and demos via collaboration tools Exceptional discovery, consultative selling, negotiation, and active listening skills Ability to build and document repeatable sales processes, scripts, and coaching cadences Data-driven approach to forecasting, pipeline management, and team performance metrics High self-motivation and organizational skill in a 100% remote environment Able to work under pressure, think clearly in challenging situations, and operate effectively with minimal supervision

Knowledge & Experience Background selling SaaS to SMB decision-makers and contact center operators (preferred) Experience with CCaaS, UCaaS, collaboration, or workforce technology (preferred) Track record of building outbound sales processes and teams from scratch (zero-to-one growth) Hands-on expertise with Zoho CRM or equivalent sales platforms Highly analytical problem-solver who applies innovative thinking to messaging, targeting, and conversion How success is measured: new customers acquired, ARR/MRR booked, qualified pipeline created, demo-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close rates, and sales velocity. Leadership metrics include team quota attainment, new-hire ramp time, forecast accuracy, early churn, and CRM hygiene.
