About the Role

Spiegelworld is looking for a Wardrobe Supervisor to join the team at Absinthe at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. This position is an employee of PRG - Showpay and managed onsite by Absinthe. The Wardrobe Supervisor is responsible for having working knowledge and operational skills of a wardrobe department, attending required rehearsals, performing a cue track during shows, being alert and focused during rehearsals and performances, and assisting with work calls to include but not limited to costume repair, costume fittings, laundry & dry cleaning. This position reports to the Production Manager and their manager at Showpay. This is a full-time position that pays $46.41/hour.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and integrate the costume designer's concepts for the successful operation of the production.
• Assist with ongoing Wardrobe department operations; duties include sewing, fitting, alterations, painting, dying.
• Maintain, fit, inspect, adjust, repair all costume pieces and accessories for the show to preserve the long-term integrity of the costume design.
• Assist with ordering, procuring, and tracking of the department's expendables and equipment.
• Assist performers with wardrobe and quick changes before and during performances.
• Attend special costume sessions when appropriate.
• Ensure performers are wearing costumes and accessories correctly according to the production costume design.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed to run the performances and rehearsal.
• Work closely with the Production Manager, Resident Director, and Resident Designer to maintain the integrity of the show and to communicate as needed to evaluate the use and function of wardrobe to ensure a smooth and efficient tech process.
• Must have a strong ability to manage and prioritize a multitude of projects.
• Maintain expected levels of craftsmanship and artistic excellence.

What You Bring

• Proficient in the use and maintenance of all technical Wardrobe machinery and equipment
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
• Basic knowledge computer software to include Google Docs, Sheets and Meets, MS Word, Excel, and Docs as well as office equipment, i.e. laminator, P-touch labeler and copier
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
• Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company uniform and standards.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively delegate work.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to exhibit extreme patience.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to chemicals, cleansers, and solvents.
• High level of mobility. Including going up and down stairs.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Must have valid work authorization for the US.
• Successful background check clearance prior to hire
• Must be a member of I.A.T.S.E. 720
