Data Center Technician

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure management, is seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the maintenance and monitoring of essential facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Data Center Technician Location: Baltimore, MD Pay rate: $42/hr What's the Job? Perform preventative maintenance and site monitoring for critical infrastructure systems. Conduct engineering rounds and site inspections, checking and recording operational data. Coordinate with JLL engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Operate and maintain pumps, fire systems, HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems. Support 24/7 data center operations by working flexible shifts, including day, second, and third shifts. What's Needed? 5-7 years of experience in mission-critical environments or related fields. Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and fire suppression systems. Prior military or technical school training is preferred. Electrical or mechanical license is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
