Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.Job ResponsibilitiesQualifications Necessary To Do The Job:Previous shipping and receiving experience is preferredProven good understanding of warehousing, inventory management, shipping and receiving procedures are preferred.Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft package.Must be Forklift certified and able to undergo testing.Must have demonstrated strong organizational skills.Must be able to distinguish color.Main DutiesPrepare and verify records of receipt of incoming material and equipment and posts to open order of suppliers. Notifies departments of received packages, etc.Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities to ensure meeting of departmental performance objectives.Establish and maintain auditable records of all receipts and shipments.Input and retrieve data from computer to record, update and monitor shipments and dispositions to ensure we are supporting our customer(s).Assist with loading and unloading trucks, which requires driving a forklift and lifting of packages.Coordinate and arrange trucks in a timely fashion to ensure goods are shipped from Decostar.Prepare accurate bills of lading, dray tickets, and shipping documents.Coordinate and complete physical inventories and cycle counts as scheduled. Reconcile variances and assist in corrective actions to prevent further occurrences.Follow standard operating procedures as outlined in Decostar ISO system for receiving and shipping goods.Communicate and prepare reports.Other duties as assignedAwareness, Unity, EmpowermentAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
