CVICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts (1900 - 0730) with weekend rotation; participation in the call rotation is required.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses who are also willing to cover in the CCU. Applicants should have Day 0 CVICU experience and be prepared to make a difference in our community by providing high-quality care in a smaller independent hospital setting, while supporting the healing process of local residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU and CCU.
• Float to Acute Care (Med/Surg) when necessary.
• Participate in the call rotation, with 1 call shift required per 2-week period.
• Support the hospital's mission of keeping community members close to home during their treatment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 experience.
• Active Colorado RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience is required.
